The Fabri Literary Prize

Here is how the contest works:

1. Click on the link at the bottom of this page, fill out the online entry form and upload a Word or Text file containing the first 50 (+/-) pages (double spaced, 8.5 by 11 page) of your unpublished novel. You should provide complete chapters.
2. 5 to 7 finalists will be selected from the submitted partial manuscripts.
3. The finalists will be contacted on or about October 31, 2007 and asked to submit hard copies of their complete manuscripts to 4 judges.
4. The judges will select the winner and all finalists will be notified by November 30, 2007.
5. There are no consolation awards.
6. The winner will be awarded a publishing contact with a $10,000 advance, 1/2 payable on signature of contract and 1/2 payable when print-ready files are transmitted to printer. There will be a guarantee to publish and a guaranteed publicity budget of $5,000.
7. Entrants agree that the decision of Boaz Publishing and/or the judges of the Fabri Literary Prize will be final as to all matters, including eligibility, timeliness of submission, and compliance with entry rules.
8. Only original works of fiction by US citizens are eligible to win.
9. Please only submit novels written for the general book trade. Children's and young adult books will not be considered. In addition, novels written for the religious markets will not be considered.
